The fees for our services depend on several factors, including the type of therapy, the practitioner's background, experience, and qualifications, and whether you are eligible for a sliding-scale rate offered by the practitioner.

We accept debit visa, credit cards, and e-transfer payments. Payments can be set up easily online or with your practitioner.

Financial Accessibility
LEO Psychotherapy is committed to making therapy more accessible. Reduced fees may be available for clients facing financial hardship. Each request is reviewed on a case-by-case basis, and fees are adjusted in accordance with established guidelines to ensure fair and sustainable support.

Fee Structure

Individual Therapy Sessions
50 minutes – $180 per session -
Couples / Family Therapy Sessions
50 minutes – $195 per session​​
Session Length
Standard sessions are 50 minutes in duration. Shorter or extended sessions can be arranged, with fees adjusted accordingly.​
Insurance & Coverage
Some extended health insurance plans or Employee Assistance Programs (EAPs) may cover part or all of the costs associated with psychotherapy. Please check with your provider or employer for specific details about your coverage. Psychotherapy is not covered under OHIP.​
Receipts
Clients will be provided with a detailed receipt after each session. These can be submitted for insurance reimbursement, used for tax preparation, or kept for personal financial records.​​
Tax Credit Eligibility
The Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) recognizes the fees paid to Registered Psychotherapists for non-reimbursed services as eligible medical expenses. These may qualify for a tax credit when filing your income taxes.​
Additional Services
Professional services outside of scheduled therapy sessions—such as consultation, report writing, or correspondence—may be billed on a prorated basis, depending on the time required.
